Cancellation Policy

Cancellations:
If you pay by charge card and if you
cancel your order you have until the product is shipped,
usually 2-3 days to cancel with a 100% refund. Once
the order has been shipped from the manufacture, you will be
charged a 15% restocking fee and all shipping charges.
This fee can be totally avoided if you place another
order with us within the next 10 days. You may
NOT cancel because "You found it cheaper somewhere else" as
we will price match any legitimate
competitors price. Just ask!
Returns:
Please phone
us with your concern and give us a chance to resolve the
issue. If we can not, we will issue a return
authorization number.
Custom orders, such as
Copper items (Cupola, Finials and Vents), are refundable
for 3 days from date of order, after that time the
manufacturing process has begun and there will be a prorated
refund based on completion of the item up to 75% of the item
cost. Please contact us and advise us of a cancellation
intent and allow us to workout a solution to your concerns.
If a resolution can not be made, we will stop the
manufacturing process immediately and advise you as to the
charges and refund expected.
CUSTOM items such as all of the address/house number
plaques, ALL CUSTOM MADE One-of-a-kind Wood
Mailboxes, Cupola's, Arbors and custom vinyl
address numbers (personalization) are not
returnable unless defective or damaged in shipping,
as they are custom-made just for you. If you order a
returnable mailbox with personalization attached and return
it, you will not be refunded the cost of the
personalization, as it will be unusable to anyone else.
ALL Refunds will be completed
within 45 days of the cancellation of the order.
Once the order is shipped, unless another purchase of similar value is made within 10
days,
a 15% MANDATORY re-stocking fee will apply to all purchases,
whether you have received the item or not..
Unless specifically stated otherwise on this web page, you
may return any STOCK item, for any reason
within 60 days of purchase, at your expense for a
credit of the actual item only, less a 15% re-stocking fee.
Shipping costs are not refundable. Item(s) must
be returned in it's original box, and if necessary double
boxed to avoid shipping damage, (which you are responsible
for) and received by us in good, re-sellable condition.
The item also must be NEW, and in unused condition.
You may insure the item, but if it was packaged poorly by
you, UPS, DHL or the Post Office will not cover the loss.
THERE IS NO INSURANCE COVERAGE if you don't pack it well.
Packing it well means there must be at least 2"-3" of
padding around the entire item. If item is received by us
in damaged condition, and we can't re-sell it here in our
store to someone else, we can't issue you any credit for it.
Please return via regular UPS Ground or USPS (Post Office)
Ground or Priority Mail. Either is fine with us, so please
use whichever is the most inexpensive and convenient for
you. WARNING! Damage in shipping is common so pack it well!
Do not trust the box it arrived in!
Once item is received by us, within 45 days you will be
issued either a credit on your charge card. Please keep in mind this 15% re-stocking
fee applies to all returns.
There is no re-stocking fee if you purchase
something else from us
within 10 days of similar or equal value!
During free shipping promotions, if you return an item that
has "free shipping", you will be refunded your
full item price, minus the 15% restocking fee.
Shipping the returned items are your responsibility.
We can not be held
responsible for manufactures delays, as issues at these
companies are out of our control and are not reason for
cancellation. If an order is delayed, you may change
your order to another item
Shipping Damage:
SAVE ALL PACKAGING MATERIALS AND
LEAVE BOX AS INTACT AS POSSIBLE. If the delivery driver is
there, have him/her note the damage in their records. Open
the package while the driver is watching if you can.
Call us immediately at (248)766-1278 for instructions! UPS
may send a representative to inspect the damaged item. If a
damage claim is not filed within 72 hours, you loose your
rights for any sort of a claim. This is per UPS/FedEx/DHL
rules.
In case of a problem, please contact us first before
contacting Visa, Master Card or American Express regarding
our transaction and give us at least 48 hours (2 WORKING
DAYS) to rectify the situation. We WILL adjust your
transaction from here within 10 days. Do not contact
any of the charge card companies regarding our transaction,
as this will only delay any resolution, while the credit
card companies sort out the complaint. They also can charge up to a $30 fee just for you telephoning
them. We WILL pass this fee on to you and not give
you a full credit if you don't allow us time to look into
the problem.
Warrantee Claims:
Each item has it own manufactures warranty. Please
contact us if you have an issue, and we will work with the
manufacture to resolve the issue.
If we
receive more than 2 complaints per year on any product, and
the manufacture does not offer you a suitable resolution,
and you tell us about it, that manufactures product line is
at serious risk of being removed from our product mix.
MOST
products on this web site have an unconditional warrantee
for a period of one year against the paint failing. You will
need to provide proof of purchase, which is a copy of your
confirmation number and order. You will need to provide a
copy of your credit card statement that the charge was on as
well.
In ALL instances, vandalism or abuse is NEVER a valid claim
for a return/refund/replacement unless otherwise stated on
the web page that item is on.
